The Nikau tree

On Thursday afternoon, Mr Eley and Miss Capstick came into our classroom . I got confused on what Mr Eley was carrying and it looked very strange. But lucky my whole class was told that it was a Nikau tree. It looked Ridiculous like long strings filled with beads or braids sticking out but it was very colourful. A few minutes after my teacher Mrs Farr invited C2 to come over to our class so we can sketch it into our visual art book. When I started to sketch that weird plant, I often found it very hard in the beginning but then got easy at the end. So for now I am just going to say that a Nikau tree looks beautiful.

Carnival of Animals

In the second week of the school holidays I went to a show called 'Carnival of Animals'. And no, there were animals. The reason why I went to 'Carnival of Animals! And no, there were no Animals. The reason why I went to 'Carnival of Animals', was because me and my cousin, Emma, won 4 tickets to 'Carnival of Animals'. My auntie asked for 1 more ticket politely and guess what? she got it! The people who went were: Emma, Andrew (my brother),Grandma , Catherine (my auntie) and me. We went to 'Bruce Mason Centre' over the shore. When we got inside we walked to the ticket desk and asked for our tickets. Me and Emma went Cookoo over the tickets because we were dying to see what row we were in. We were in row...'B'! As we were going in to watch the show I read a sign that said 'please turn off all cameras and phones. NO photography please. Thank you'. I didn't like that because I had bought 'my camera. During the show, the people were acting as animals and they were so flexible and bendable. Sometime later on in the show they threw balloons 'out into the audience, but they got most of them back. When the show ended we went back to my grandmas house and had lunch. The End.

My trip to taoup/wellington

On the second week of the holidays I went to Taupo with my mum and her friends. It was a fantastic ride but the thing I didn't like was that we were doing one ride in and out. We had lunch then went to huka falls and over there I saw some tuis flying around. We came in the afternoon and slept so well. In the morning I woke up and went with my dad to wellington. It was an 8 hour drive. we arrived in wellington in the afternoon and met my cousins. My cousins grandpa died that's why I came, I thought me and my dad wore just going for a ride but it was actually important. After the funeral me and my dad went back and arrived in the morning at day time kind of day and took a big rest.

Sammy's Holidays

On my holidays I went to the movies with my little brother, mum and my Aunty. Me and my brother went in but my mum and Aunty stayed out. 1:30-2:00 hours later we went out and my mum and Aunty  went to look at some phones. The following day my mum bought a iPhone 6s then I decided to eat some McDonalds. My cousins came over and we decided to go to my other auntys house. Me and my cousins played on the boat.

In the holidays I was playing on my PS3 and I was playing with Jerome and Eli. Then I went to the movies and I watched Born to dance and Fantastic 4. On Sunday I had pancakes and eggs for breakfast. In the weekends I stayed home with my brothers and sisters and we played soccer. Me my brothers and sisters went for a bike ride because we were bored and hot so we had ice cream. Yesterday on Sunday I had burrito wraps and they were deeeelicious, also on Sunday I went for a walk at Totara park and it was tiring.

My holiday

We arrived at snails beach and we were deciding which cabin to be in, I was in the one with my best friends. We unpacked all our stuff and had dinner. After that we went to our night service for when some one shares to us about God and we do praise and worship. The next day we did morning aerobics and went to morning service, then we practised a dance in line formation. After that we went to the beach and had tribal wars (tribes competing against each other) there and my team won. After that we went back and went to night service and it was actually a party. On the third day we went to morning service and then had breakfast and the milk was watery. They announced the winners of tribal wars after our dances. WE WON a X Box and a few hours later we left.

My Holidays Boring to Fun

During my holidays I did a few things that I think was amazing.

 

On the first day of the holidays my family explored a new library, but as we drove all around it we discovered next to was a café, pool, (water sprinklers, guns, buckets, and waterfalls ) gym , court, (basketball) volleyball room, and a park, so my parents let me and my siblings go and have on it on the park my favourite ride was the big blue basket, where you or another person hop in the basket swing while someone else pushes you really hard and you would have to hold on.

While on  the boring days at home I would always have to do 6 pages of homework units for maths, reading, general knowledge, research, handwriting, and more...even fun recipes, and if I do well my mum offered me $10 for me and my brother but I got $20 instead,at least 30 minutes of piano.

But my favourite day as the Ambury Farm Day, it only happens once each school holidays the first game I tried was the Boot Throw where you hove to throw a boot in the circle and I won 15 sunflower seeds.(in three packets) While my Mum saved me a ride on a horse ride.

As we pet the animals I had a chance to feed a horse with a carrot.

The Holidays

In the holidays on Sunday we went to my cousins house for a sleep over. We also went their because it was her birthday. When we got there we started to watch a movie and after we had some home made butter chicken and it was delicious. After the movie and butter chicken and it was delicious. After the movie and butter chicken we went to sleep In the morning we all had to get ready because we were going ice skating in Botany Paradise. When we got there we saw our cousins waiting for us . So we all went in to the party room where the birthday was going to be held. We put our skates on and started racing each other because there was barely anybody there. So after 4 hours of ice skating we left to go eat the cake and went back to the house and ate McDonalds.

Taupo tournament trip

In the holidays I went down to taupo for a soccer tournament with my team the Papatoetoe united giants Arnav, Suarav, Jonathan, Tamaho, Aydin,Shannon, Jagjot, krishy, Jarred and me .My father was the manager for us I think he spent more then 1,000 dollars on food. On Friday the 9th me and my father took all of the food into our car. On Saturday I was so excited because I had five games first we played Upper Hutt tigers with a 1-2 win. next we lost against fencibles Liverpool 0-3 after that a win of luck came against western suburbs 0-2 . we also played Fencibles spurs loosing 0-2 then the last game of the day was against taupo we won 1-2 . the next day on Sunday the first game was against the Miramar ranges hobbit we lost 1-0 then 40 minutes later we beat Mangere mustangs  1-2. lastly we played western springs wining 1-0. my holiday in taupo was awesome.

In the holidays I went to the movies and I saw a Indian movie. It was a comedy movie so I couldn't stop laughing. It was about a man who had three wives and the wives didn't know about it. When ever I think about the movie I start laughing. We also went to Mount Albert Wave Pools. We had heaps of fun trying to hold on to the poles and trying not to get pulled into the water by the waves. But it stops after three or four minutes to give us a rest. There was also a water slide that was approximately thirty seconds long and at the end it starts to get dark. I was scared because it was my first ever time going in a water slide. I had a fun holiday!

Hamilton

In the holidays it was my cousins birthday. She was turning 24 years old. Her name is Faaria she lives with her sister and her mum. So me, my mum, my sister and my grandpa went to visit them. When we went there we were greeted by my cousins and Aunty. We gave them gifts, for Faaria we gave her minion presents because she loved minions. Then it was our turn to open our presents. We ate some yummy food we had cupcakes, prawn curry and rice, we had chocolate then after a while we had ice cream. Once we were done we were talking.y mum asked my Aunty if we could go to the mall she said yes. Me, my cousin,my Aunty, my mum, and my sister went there. We stayed there for an hour. Soon it was time to go. We all said our farewells then we went home.

It was a very fun day!
