In the holidays it was my cousins birthday. She was turning 24 years old. Her name is Faaria she lives with her sister and her mum. So me, my mum, my sister and my grandpa went to visit them. When we went there we were greeted by my cousins and Aunty. We gave them gifts, for Faaria we gave her minion presents because she loved minions. Then it was our turn to open our presents. We ate some yummy food we had cupcakes, prawn curry and rice, we had chocolate then after a while we had ice cream. Once we were done we were talking.y mum asked my Aunty if we could go to the mall she said yes. Me, my cousin,my Aunty, my mum, and my sister went there. We stayed there for an hour. Soon it was time to go. We all said our farewells then we went home.

It was a very fun day!

Happy meal toy review
This advertisement is happy meal. In this ad there is five sections and in three of the sections are images. The first image is a picture of a delicious happy meal. In red and yellow it says now available with a new toy and it have a picture of the toy. On the last picture there is a picture of the happy meal with the toy and on it has McDonald's slogan I'm lovin it. On my ad there is a special offer, buy one and get one free happy meal. At the end it says what are you waiting for come and get your happy meal today, and then kids will think what am I waiting for I should get a happy meal. In big bold letters it says only for five dollars.

Advertisement review- skittles

This advertisement is promoting skittles. I think the target audience for this advertisement is skittle lovers because skittles are fruit flavoured candy and skittle lovers will love it. Some of the visual features include a rainbow and at the end of the rainbow it has a sentence which says Taste the rainbow so people will know that skittles is rainbow flavoured. I think this advertisement is effective because it is different colours and that skittles are different colours, it is also effective because if the rainbow it also shows and represents skittles.

The light blue water gush's down the long river, the sun's bright glow reflects on the water. Tree branch's are hanging over the layered rocks and the leaves are shimmering green. The brown rocks are mounted on top of each other, they look like seats made out of rocks. The two cliff like mini mountains, create a narrow pathway to the hot and burning sand.

There are two boys and two families in this sophisticated picture book. One family is very poor and they live in Morocco in North Africa. The other family live in Australia and they have more money to do things. The message of this book is that families live differently all around the world but some things are still connected like caring for family.

This book is recommended for children eight years old and over because if a little kid read this they would not understand the pictures.
