My Holidays Boring to Fun

My Holidays Boring to Fun

During my holidays I did a few things that I think was amazing.

On the first day of the holidays my family explored a new library, but as we drove all around it we discovered next to was a cafĂ©, pool, (water sprinklers, guns, buckets, and waterfalls ) gym , court, (basketball) volleyball room, and a park, so my parents let me and my siblings go and have on it on the park my favourite ride was the big blue basket, where you or another person hop in the basket swing while someone else pushes you really hard and you would have to hold on.
While on  the boring days at home I would always have to do 6 pages of homework units for maths, reading, general knowledge, research, handwriting, and more...even fun recipes, and if I do well my mum offered me $10 for me and my brother but I got $20 instead,at least 30 minutes of piano.
But my favourite day as the Ambury Farm Day, it only happens once each school holidays the first game I tried was the Boot Throw where you hove to throw a boot in the circle and I won 15 sunflower seeds.(in three packets) While my Mum saved me a ride on a horse ride.
As we pet the animals I had a chance to feed a horse with a carrot.

Advertisment-coca cola

This advertisment is promoting Coca Cola.
I think the target audience for this advertisment is everyone who drinks coke or any fizzy drinks.
Some of visual features used include a polar bear in the ice holding a coke and trying to find three other that's behind a piece of ice.
I think this advertisment is effective because the cute polar bear is trying grab the coke.

Noelanis holiday

In the holidays I found the trailer of Kung fu panda 3 and Hotel Transylvania 2,
I went to Jump, a park  full of tramplens while I was there I went on a ropeswing into a pool of huge grey and purple foam and a basketball court,
Every night I would watch a movie and sleep late, the latest I have ever slept is 4:00am and woken up at 12:00 in the afternoon,
On Thursday and Friday I went to the cinemas watching inside out and minions with my Nena, my little sister, older brother, younger brother, and my mum and dad,
In the morning on Sunday we celebrated my older brothers 13th birthday for breakfast we ate MacDonalds, then drived to west Auckland and back home relaxing, for dinner we went to valentimes.

I enjoyed it because we had a break from school and had a chance to be lazy and have fun.

I didn't enjoy the nights I slept on my bed instead of sleeping on the couch.

Until the next holidays I would like to do the exact same thing

Stephania's Dancing Slippers

Author: Jennifer Beck
Illustrator: Lindy Fisher

This sophisticated picture book is about a girl that has dancing slippers that are very important to her. She chose to take these with her when her family escaped the war and these dancing slippers helped her heart through hardship.
This book has many complicated meanings therefore this book would be suitable for children who are nine years and over.
