Priyanka's holiday

In the holidays I went to a holiday programme and from there I got to go to the movies. Where I watched inside out, battling cages where I got to play soft ball, cricket and baseball and last but not least Parakai pools where I got to go on a huge water slide then in the second week of the school holidays I stayed home and played with my friends. And on the last day of the school holidays I went  shopping for almost the whole day.

The Great Harbour Sunset

As the sun glistens, the harbour sparkles, while the Wharf stands still, the salty sea water moves across as slowly as a sloth. The sea is slowly moving, and so is a boat, while a buoy is doing its job. The Harbour is in the middle and on both sides is Auckland City. The sky tower is standing next to the other buildings.

Stephania's Dancing Slippers

This sophisticated picture book is about a girl that has dancing slippers that are very important to her. She chose to take these with her when her family escaped the war and these dancing slippers helped her heart through hardship.
This book has many complicated meanings therefore this book would be suitable for children who are nine years and over.
