Sammy's Holidays

On my holidays I went to the movies with my little brother, mum and my Aunty. Me and my brother went in but my mum and Aunty stayed out. 1:30-2:00 hours later we went out and my mum and Aunty  went to look at some phones. The following day my mum bought a iPhone 6s then I decided to eat some McDonalds. My cousins came over and we decided to go to my other auntys house. Me and my cousins played on the boat.

My Holidays

In the holidays I went to a snow mountain with my mum,dad and my brothers. I enjoyed staying there because I could stay there for 2 days. What I didn't enjoy is that I had to sit in the car for 5 hours to get to the mountain and back home. In the next holidays I would like to go to Hawaii and watch sea turtles.

The Silver Sparkling Waterfall

 

The silver plunging water thundered down as the trees and natural greenness surround the sheet like water fall.  Plants that had over hung had grown on the large river bank.  Wet and mossy boulders rested in the calm flowing water. The dark green water, so dark that the colour was like pitch black.

This book is a sophisticated picture book about a lost thing fitting in with the world. The lost thing was a red machine found at a beach and no one noticed it. It's a story about belonging. We think that Year4,5,6 children should read this book because younger children won't understand the words and the ideas.
